Entering the Inner Sanctuary
Enter this sanctuary time by settling down, becoming quiet, and breathing deeply a few breaths. Remind yourself you are in the Presence of Love. This place you are entering, within, is the inner Temple. Here, you are One with Spirit and all persons, and Nature. You may use a mantra, or prayer phrase, follow the breathing in-and-out, or witness the arising and falling of all around you as the manifestation of universal-Grace. Namaste' … The Sacred in Me Bows in Reverence to the Sacred in You ...

Several years ago, the famed Olympic diver Greg Louganis was diving at the Pan American Games. Someone asked him how he coped with the stress of international diving events. Greg replied that he would stand on the board, take a deep breath, and think: “Even if I blow this dive, my mother will still love me.”
Wonderful Presence is Unconditional Love. Even if we could hurt deeply this One, betray this One, deny this One, hide from this One, blaspheme this One, … that would not alter the Love.
Likewise, we are loved for being part of this Grace, not for what we do or do not do. This is Grace, this is Love. We do not perform well to enjoy the Wonderful Presence, we live from our enjoyment of Unconditional Kindness.
I have worked through, for many years, ever-more-subtle layers of low self-esteem. Somehow, I did not sense this Unconditional Love much in my upbringing. I rarely sensed it. And I provide spiritual guidance work with persons almost daily who face this challenge of knowing of, trusting in, and receiving Unconditional Love.
We can accept moments of our lack of trusting this Grace. We can call on Inner Guidance to grace us with acceptance of Love. We can keep returning to Love. In returning, with gentleness and not-judging ourselves, not blaming anyone for what we feel, we become more One with the Truth of this Unconditional Presence with us.

The A Course in Miracles says: “You can stretch out your hand and reach to Heaven.” Heaven is your acceptance of this Unconditional Grace, even when you do not feel it. Do not wait to feel this Love; affirm it. When you practice affirming this Love, you will sense it growing as a felt-experience and bodily. Blessings!!!
